Born to a family of singers, dancers, artists, and entertainers, Joey has been telling stories in some way, shape, or form for as long as he can remember. His earliest writing accomplishment was when his fourth grade teacher rejected a homework assignment because she didn't believe he'd written it himself. Since then, he's written for the web, for print, and for bitter vindication.
He's co-creator and writer of the webcomic RECKSTAR, which updates every Tuesday at ReckstarComic.com. In 2014, he was named Runner-Up in the Top Cow Talent Hunt for writers, and his resulting short story, "Where's Sol?" was published as a backup in Top Cow's Aphrodite IX/Cyber Force #1. Other short stories have been published in The Gathering, Low Concept, and upcoming Bizarre New World comic anthologies. His prose fiction has appeared on 365tomorrows.com and won contests on Writing.com, and his ongoing serial novel, GATEWALKER, was ranked in the Top 30 Serials on JukePopSerials.com.
